Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies with Cream Cheese Frosting

- Cookie Ingredients:
- ½ cup butter; softened
- 1½ cups sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup canned pumpkin
- 2½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
- Frosting Ingredients:
- ½ cup butter; softened
- 1 8 oz. container cream cheese; softened
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Cookie Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, nutmeg and cinnamon. Set aside.
- In medium bowl, cream butter, sugar and egg together.
- Add pumpkin and beat until creamy.
- Add dry ingredients to pumpkin mixture and mix until well combined.
- Add vanilla and Chocolate Chips. Mix.
- Drop by spoonful onto baking sheet lined with parchment paper (or coated with cooking spray.)
- Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes, or until cooked through.
- Frosting Instructions:
- Cream butter and cream cheese together.
- Add sugar and vanilla and mix well.
- Top cooled cookies with frosting!
