I got this recipe from my friend Judy and she is FAMOUS for it! They are the best Pumpkin Chocolate Chip cookies on the planet!

Ingredients
  • Cookie Ingredients:
  • ½ cup butter; softened
  • 1½ cups sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin
  • 2½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • Frosting Ingredients:
  • ½ cup butter; softened
  • 1 8 oz. container cream cheese; softened
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions
  1. Cookie Instructions:
  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  3. Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, nutmeg and cinnamon. Set aside.
  4. In medium bowl, cream butter, sugar and egg together.
  5. Add pumpkin and beat until creamy.
  6. Add dry ingredients to pumpkin mixture and mix until well combined.
  7. Add vanilla and Chocolate Chips. Mix.
  8. Drop by spoonful onto baking sheet lined with parchment paper (or coated with cooking spray.)
  9. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes, or until cooked through.
  10. Frosting Instructions:
  11. Cream butter and cream cheese together.
  12. Add sugar and vanilla and mix well.
  13. Top cooled cookies with frosting!
