Happy, happy weekend!
I first want to share the CUTE Fabletics clothing I received recently.
Cute, cute, cute, cute, cute! I can’t wait until I can actually fit into them. 😉
I chose the Norwalk Tank in the Mint Brush Print and the Salar Capri in the Black Brush Print.
I love them both so much! The Norwalk tank is so light and airy and I love it! I also love the color and cute print.
It also has removable cups, which I always love. I love the back of the tank and the drawstring at the bottom too. It is such a cute design.
I LOVE these capris too! I really love the print and think it will really hide imperfections and be very flattering. The fabric is super soft and seems to be very high quality. I also love the little hidden pocket too.
I love Fabletics so much and look forward to seeing their cute styles every month.

Well, we’ve had a very, very busy week and I am a very tired lady! Thankfully, we’ve been having a pretty relaxing Saturday though.
It’s been very nice. 😉
This week, my youngest boys had swimming lessons most mornings…
A couple of my boys had track practice and a track meet…
My little cutie is in the gray tank top. This is his first year taking track and sadly, he hasn’t loved it. 🙁 It’s been a good experience for him though! 🙂
My ten year old LOVES running! He had to take a few weeks off when he broke his arm, but he’s happy to be back at it again!
Oh, and he also got his big old cast taken off this week and a short cast put on…
He’ll have to wear that cast for a month and then he will be DONE! When they took his big cast off, his wrist still looked a little “jacked” to me….
The doctor took an x-ray and said the bones were lined up perfectly, but it will take some time for his arm to straighten itself out. He said the body knows how his arm is supposed to be and it will eventually straighten out perfectly. Isn’t that crazy?! Yes, the body is pretty darn amazing!
We also celebrated my oldest son’s 15 1/2 birthday this week! He’s our only child that we celebrate his half birthday because his “real” birthday is on Christmas!
He’s pretty low-maintenance and didn’t want to do anything grandiose. He just had a couple friend’s over and we had chocolate chip cookies and ice cream (his choice.)
Here’s my plate. It was so yummy. And yes, I had another cookie. They are my fav!
We gave him cash and some treats….
Cash is the best thing ever to give this kid! He’s quite impulsive and seems to want something different every other day. We’ve found if we give him cash and let him CHOOSE to buy what he really wants, he makes a lot less impulsive decision.
Win-win.
Our week also consisted of a few doctor appointments, orthodontist appointments, Cub Scout Pack Meeting and some family stuff. It’s been insane.
Next week is supposed to be a lot calmer. We’ll see how it goes…

I’ve still been trying to stick to a somewhat healthy diet and exercise schedule, but I’ve been SERIOUSLY struggling! I did manage to make it to my crazy hard class at the gym this morning.
I grabbed my typical apple and nuts as I ran out the door…
I ate half the apple and several of the nuts on the way there.
I even snapped a blurry picture just before class started…
I love this class SO MUCH! We did 120 pushups + 32 triceps pushups. I did them all on my knees and had to “wuss out” completely on a few of them. It was tough. We also did a bunch of lunges and deadlifts. We also did a bunch of one-legged deadlifts, which I love! However, it was tough to keep my balance because my center of gravity it a little “off” these days, lol.
It was such a great workout and I’m so glad I went. I have to say I do feel a little bit silly waddling into class as a giant pregnant lady though. I’ve told you guys this class is full of a bunch of super-fit people! I definitely stand out right now. It’s kind of like the Sesame Street song, “One of These Things is Not Like the Other”, lol.
But, I’m going to keep on going as long as I can. I didn’t feel quite as strong this morning, so I’m thinking I might have to lift a little lighter next week. I’ll just try to listen to my body.
I finished the other half of my apple on the way home and had some more nuts too. I didn’t end up eating all of those nuts. I’m not really a “plain nut” lover. I would much rather sprinkle them on a salad or yogurt or something.
Oh, I also had to wear one of Kev’s old race shirts. It’s a pretty baggy shirt (and not cute at all!), but it fit!

I’ve been the lamest dinner maker ever lately! For some reason summertime makes me not want to cook dinner….ever. It’s kind of sad. Quite often, I just pull out random stuff from the fridge and somehow make it into a meal.
Here are a few things I’ve actually made for dinner lately…
Quinoa, stirfry veggies (onions, peppers, broccoli, carrots and peas), fresh pineapple and Pot Stickers (from Costco.)
I love this meal because my kids absolutely LOVE pot stickers, so they don’t complain about the veggies at all. Score. It’s also pretty quick and easy to make.
I made Chicken Salad Sandwiches for dinner the other night. Kev and I love them, but the kid’s aren’t fans.
We served them on some Sandwich Thins and had some plums on the side.
I’ll share my Chicken Salad recipe with y’all soon. It’s a good basic one and it’s much healthier than typical Chicken Salad.
I also made some yummy banana bread this week!
I had a billion over-ripe bananas sitting on my counter, so I decided to make two loaves. I actually made one loaf using my Grandma’s recipe (not healthy at all, but super amazing!) and one loaf of my Healthier Banana Bread.
When I pulled them out of the oven, they looked completely different, but I couldn’t remember which one was which!
I tried a slice of each and had my kids try them out too.
I’m happy to say that we all had a hard time figuring out which slice was the regular kind and which slice was healthier! When Kev came home, I had him try them too and he wasn’t quite sure either.
We finally decided that the lighter colored loaf was my “healthier” banana bread. It still tasted awesome, but wasn’t quite as tasty as the other loaf. The ingredients are WAY better in the healthy loaf, so I was so happy it tasted so close to the regular kind!
I also have to mention that I didn’t have any applesauce (to make the healthier kind), so I blended up some canned pears that we had and used them instead of applesauce.
It turned out great!
Well that pretty much sums up my week! I really can’t wait until this sweet little baby is out of my body. I have 7 weeks left and I’m seriously counting them down!
I love babies SO MUCH, although I know I will be super tired. It will also be fun to see the number on the scale going down for a change!
Well, I gotta go feed a bunch of hungry kids! Apparently, their mom didn’t feed them dinner. 🙂 I hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend!
I received the complementary clothes from Fabletics, but the opinions and text are entirely my own. 😉
