This has got to be my favorite oatmeal EVER! I could eat this every day. It reminds me of a no-bake cookie! Heck, if I can eat a warm, gooey, chocolatey “no-bake cookie like” breakfast every morning, I’m game!
- 1/3 C. Old Fashioned Oatmeal
- Water (just enough to cover the oatmeal + a little more)
- 1/2 scoop Chocolate Protein Powder
- 1 T. Ground Flax Seed
- 1 T. Cocoa
- 1 T. Natural Peanut Butter
Place oatmeal in microwave safe bowl.
Cover oatmeal completely with water (don’t be shy!)
Cook for 2 minutes in the microwave.
Note: I usually place a small plate under the bowl in case it boils over.
When it comes out of the microwave, add protein, cocoa, flax and peanut butter.
If it’s not quite sweet enough, you can add a little sweetener, honey, agave, whatever! I think it’s plenty sweet enough for me without adding anything extra. I sometimes add a little sliced banana on top though and it’s yummy!
